This piece, Wings of Reverie, began as a meditation in motion. I started with fluid acrylic washes, letting the colors bleed and blend like whispered dreams across the canvas. As the form of the Pegasus emerged—a creature born from myth and imagination—I felt the need to give it more than just presence. I wanted it to shimmer with something divine. That’s where the gold foil came in. I applied it delicately to the wings, giving them a radiant, otherworldly glow that shifts with the light, much like the way dreams flicker between reality and fantasy. The butterfly near the bottom serves as a symbol of transformation and delicate wonder—a perfect echo of the Pegasus’ celestial nature. This piece is about movement, magic, and the ethereal freedom of the imagination.
