"Safari Serenade"

“Safari Serenade” is the soulful sister to “Jungle Boogie” — a tender, floral-infused dream that radiates calm amidst wild beauty. Like with the first in the series, I began this piece by building up layer after layer of acrylic washes, allowing color and energy to organically emerge. Once the foundation was alive with movement, I brought the elephant to life with oils — creating depth, softness, and a tangible presence.

This piece invites you to pause, breathe, and feel connected to something both powerful and peaceful. The floral patterns across her body aren’t just decorative — they are part of her essence, blooming with personality and silent strength. The drips, the reflections, the surreal palette — everything is intentionally loose yet deeply emotive. “Safari Serenade” is more than a painting — it’s a visual lullaby for the wild-hearted.
