Alpha & Omega

“Alpha and Omega” is a deeply personal exploration of strength, spirit, and connection. I began this piece with fluid acrylic washes, letting intuition guide the flow of cool blues and earthy tones—an echo of winter's quiet resilience. As the vision became clearer, I transitioned to oils to bring out the rich textures and layered emotion of the wolves.

The central focus—a howling wolf—symbolizes voice, power, and presence. Behind it, the larger ethereal wolf represents the eternal guardian, a spiritual alpha watching over the pack. Together, they embody the sacred balance of beginnings and endings, presence and memory, earth and spirit.

Set against a misty forest and snowy terrain, this piece is both wild and serene. It's a reminder that even in the silence, we are being heard. That even in solitude, we are never truly alone.
